Beaver Lake Trail
Dog-friendly Beaver Lake Trail is a 6.3 mile heavily trafficked trail near Avon, CO. This out-and-back route guides hikers through a forest full of aspen trees and leads to Beaver Lake. The trail is rated as moderate and approaches the Holy Cross Wilderness boundary at mile 2.7. From here, you are only 0.3 miles from Beaver Lake. There are creeks along the way to cool off in. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trail.
