Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad

Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad is a pet-friendly steam train that used to haul logs from the forests of Central California. Nowadays, it hauls dogs on a one-hour scenic ride around the tree-line mountains of Fish Camp. Halfway through the trip there is a 10-15 minute stopover in Lewis Creek Canyon where you and your pup get to explore the wonders of the Sierra! Dog water dishes are available throughout the property and don't forget your leash! Please make sure Fido is comfortable with crowds and loud noises. Visit Website

This tour was a very pretty and interesting way to learn about the history of logging in the area. everyone was very friendly toward our dogs and they enjoyed it immensely. The scenery is gorgeous and about halfway through, you get an opportunity to get off the train and take a little walk in the woods. we will definitely do this again when we are in the area.
