    Cape May Brewing Company's Brewtanical Garden in West Cape May, NJ is dog friendly. The Brewtanical Garden, located behind the Tasting Room, features 12 taps of Cape May's award-winning craft brews. This space is open to the elements and hours of operation depend on the season. Please call before visiting with Fido. All seating is first come, first served. Well-behaved animals must remain on a leash at all times and the owner is responsible for cleaning up after their furry friend. Animals are not allowed inside the Tasting Room or Beer Garden.       Enjoyed.

      I wasn't sure what to expect with the other reviews. It was great . Bowls full of water, leash straps under the table and great beer . We had a lovely breeze under the shade of an old oak.

      Call Ahead

      Drove from an hour away because online it said dogs were allowed. We got there, went outside and ordered some flights. i went out to the car to grab my jacket and came back in only to be told dogs are not allowed. Apparently there are two outside areas and I guess the one that allows dogs was not open. Ok, that is fine, so I asked if I could finish my flight and leave since it is at the table. The gentleman told me no. I said ok, well can you get my boyfriend and our friends because I did not have a cell phone on me to call them and let them know I was being kicked out. He just looked at me and didn’t say much. I told him I am just going back outside to get them am leave. I chugged my beer and left. The beer is good, been there a few times before (never seen the 2nd dog friendly area they are talking about) and would return again, without the dog. Just call ahead to make sure that other area is open.

      Large outdoor space

      It was an unusually warm day in May, we came to the brewtanical garden and it was pleasantly very shady. There are many picnic tables.
      A great area for dogs and plenty of space for them to step away if needed.
