  Hard to find

  We had a hard time finding it but once we did our dog loved it! Small but it was fine.

  Great beach

  Lots of dogs running off-leash & swimming (off-season between Labor and Memorial Days). Only warning: Not totally enclosed so your dog can get out.

  Dog’s dream

  Visited here from out of town and fell in love with this place. What a great spot! My pup absolutely love it. Such a pretty spot. We came across all friendly dogs and owners. Will definitely return!

  Great place to let her run with the pack

  Visited this beach with Luna and she absolutely loved it. There was a good number of dogs already loose on the beach ( around 10) and they were all well behaved and played together well. Friendly people, friendly dogs, and the ocean breeze...what more can I say.

  Great Spot!

  My boyfriend and I took our two dogs here for the first time late November and it was a blast! The tide was kind of high but there was still plenty of space for our pups to adventure. It was great having them off leash and other pups to play with. Definitely recommend even if your dog isn’t ready to be off leash still a great walking spot with the water close by for the swimmers!

  Fun little spot.

  We happened upon this very dog friendly beach while walking the Eastern Promenade. The doggos enjoyed running off leash on the beach and chasing balls into the water.

  Awesome Time!

  We went here with our 8 month husky mix during our Maine vacation. It was her first beach experience and we felt comfortable letting her off leash as the rocks created a nice border/fence and there was plenty of dogs to keep her occupied. Dogs of all shapes and sizes were playing well together and the beach itself was quite clean! It is true that during the summer hours your dog has limited hours to be off leash however we went w the flow and let her off after seeing 7 dogs off leash at 3pm est. great spot to visit all around!

  Fun spot for the puppers!

  My pup loved this little beach. It is off-limits to dogs during summer between 9-5, so I took her before 9 each morning we were in town. She had a great workout running with the other community dogs. Owners and dogs were lovely. Definitely a great spot to get some energy out before starting (or ending) your day.

  Pretty Beach

  Our dog loved this pretty off leash area and beach! She had so much fun playing in the waves, and then we walked the trail in to Portland for the afternoon. The trail is clean and everybody is very dog friendly.
