- FrancesAug 28, 2022CAUTION!! DOG OWNERS NOT WATCHING THEIR DOGS
I'VE BEEN AN EDMOND RESIDENT FOR THE PAST 40 YRS AND CANNOT TELL YOU HOW DISAPPOINTED I AM IN THE PET OWNERS WHO ATTEND THIS DOG PARK. I HAVE A SMALL/MEDIUM DOG WHO I TOOK INTO THE GENERAL DOG PARK AS THERE WERE NO DOGS IN THE SMALL DOG AREA. I KEPT MY DOG ON HER LEASH . 4 LARGE BREED DOGS CAME RUNNING OVER TO MY DOG AND TRYING TO GRAB HER. SHE WAS LITERALLY SCREAMING, AND I DON'T THINK SHE WOULD BE HERE TODAY IF I HADN'T HAD HER ON A LEASH. I PULLED HER UP BY HER LEASH INTO MY ARMS WHILE THE DOGS WERE CONTINUING TO JUMP UP AND GRAB AT HER. I WAS SCREAMING "HELP" AND NO ONE CAME TO MY AID UNTIL I ASKED AN OLDER GENTLEMAN IF HE WOULD HOLD HER UP HIGH ENOUGH THAT THE DOGS COULDN'T GET HER SINCE I'M ONLY 5'2". EVERYONE IN THE PARK COULD HEAR WHAT WAS GOING ON AND THEY WERE ALL STARING BUT NO ONE RUSHED OVER TO PULL THEIR DOG OFF OF ME AND MY DOG OR JUST COME OVER TO HELP BECAUSE SOMEONE WAS IN NEED OF HELP. MY DOG WAS ONLY 2 AT THE TIME, AND TO THIS DAY SHE IS AFRAID OF LARGE DOGS. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND SERIOUSLY WARM OTHERS TO WATCH THEIR DOGS IF YOU VALUE THEM, BECAUSE SOME OWNERS AREN'T RESPONSIBLE.

We visited this park each way on our road trip through Oklahoma City. It was HUGE! You could mingle with the pack in the center or find your own little corner to sniff and walk around. Plenty of parking and drinking spots.
- GooterJul 3, 2021We’ll maintained
all enclosed- well maintained. lake still closed. lots of fresh water on site
- CrissieJun 5, 2021My favorite park..
I drive an extra 20 minutes each way to get to this park. it’s HUGE, well maintained, almost always lots of dogs to play with. agility obstacles, a lake, benches and shady spots. the lake is only open in fall & winter due to algae that can be dangerous to dogs, but the City of Edmond tests the water weekly when it is open to make sure it’s safe.
highly recommend. this park!

We had a great experience at this park. Walk to the way back to exit and access the pond. Lots of infrastructure for the dogs to engage with. Plenty of friendly dogs and owners! Just beware of the deeper green grass, as of mid-April, there are many poo piles...
- JJan 27, 2018Great place to play
We've been going to dog parks since the first weekend we got our lab mix. Shortly after moving to OKC we checked out all the parks and this one is by far the best around. Our boys love going, and our newest addition enjoys playing with all the other puppies. Huge space, well designed, and most of the owners are friendly enough to make spending the day enjoyable.

We stopped here on a beautiful January day on a road trip. Super friendly, well maintained with a swimming lake! A perfect stop for our girl to run off energy from sitting in the car.
- AlexisMore than a year agoWonderful Dogs & Owners
Well-maintained, huge park with separate areas for large and small dogs. Friendy people who watch their dogs carefully. After being trapped in a car for 300 miles, our dog loved it and so did we. It was less than 15 minute drive from Quail Springs area of Oklahoma City.

We have been to Del City, The OKC dog Park near Lake Hefner and now the Edmond park. Edmond is the best so far. Wide open field and there is access to a lake. Lots of grass and there is a hill with lots of trees and shrubs that my kids had a blast playing on with the dogs. It really is worth the drive...great dog park.
- Lab OwnerMore than a year agoExcellent park
As a recent owner to world of fido, I can safely say this park is worth the time. It is large enough that you pet can almost go missing among the many breeds of dogs. The pond on the back side is perfect for all the runners who need some cool off time or a swim. I currently have a weekly play date with my lab and he enjoys every minute of it.
