Camano Island State Park is pet-friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome to walk on the pebbly beach with their owners between the driftwood, as long as they are well-behaved and cleaned up after. Dogs are also welcome in select cabins located at the state park. Visit Website

Beach is Not Really Dog Friendly, but Trails & Views are Amazing!
The park itself is wonderful with lots of great walking trails, and stunning views with lots of picnic tables and areas to play. **NOTE:** The beaches, which we drove an hour to take our dog to, were difficult to walk.
We tried two beaches in the park and they were both so rocky (and not hard-packed causing your feet to really sink in and roll around with each step) that we and our dog really struggled and had to turn around. We saw two different couples pick up their dogs and carry them out.
The beaches are beautiful, but we didn't find anywhere easy to play or walk. Plus, one of the trails down to the beach has those metal grates, I assume to help with erosion, but they have the potential to hurt a dog's feet.
Go for the great trails, pack a lunch and enjoy the stunning scenery, it's a beautiful park, and we'll return, but not to walk our dog on the beach.
