As the other review said, you have to park at the shopping center and then walk up the road as there’s no parking at the actual trailhead. There was a doggy bag station at the start but unfortunately it was empty, not sure how often they stop by. It’s a pretty consistent incline until you reach the first peak. It was a little more than 3 miles roundtrip (& 600 ft elevation gain) to the top of the first hill. The trail crosses a residential street at one point, you might be able to park there if you want to start the trail a little higher up, but I’m not sure what the parking rules are there. The trail continued on, but we only did the first hill, so not sure how far it goes for. Super empty trail and low crowds, we saw only two other hiking parties and this was on a sunny saturday. Definitely a hidden gem of a trail and so many beautiful wildflowers during the spring. Our pup loved it and so did we.

Nice hike, we did about 4 miles. Unfortunately someone didn’t leashed his two huge dogs and Archibald got nervous but other than that, nice place to bring your dog.
