Cathedral Rock Trail
Cathedral Rock Trail is pet-friendly. At nearly three miles, this out-and-back trail is rated moderate as it can get a little steep at times. Bring your leashed pooch with you to wander up from Mazie Canyon, enjoying wildflowers and butterflies during the spring. You can pause for a moment at the waterfall around halfway up the pathway which has an old road leading to it. The trail climbs a few short, steep switchbacks before reaching the summit, with a spectacular view of Kyle Canyon. Be careful of wintery hikes as this spot is a major avalanche zone and clean up any mess that is left behind.

This trail is a moderate level however it is mostly uphill with steep elevations and bends. luckily on the way back down it is all downhill so your legs will thank you! This is a popular trail for dog families so be sure to keep your pet on a leash.
