Eisenhower Park

A 930-acre of open space and recreation in the heart of Nassau County, Eisenhower Park is one of the largest public spaces in the New York metropolitan area – larger, in fact, than Central Park. The park offers a full range of athletic and family activities, including swimming, a major golf facility, dozens of athletic fields and courts, picnic areas, summertime entertainment, playgrounds, fitness trails and more. Leashed dog walking is designated in the east side of Park Boulevard. Visit Website

    Read the fine print

Leashed walking only allowed on the main road through Eisenhower. Greeted by “no dog” signs as you enter all field parking lots. Expected at a park you would be able to walk the paths with a leashed dog.
