  No dog signs

  I pulled up to the reserve and there were no dogs allowed signs all over the preserve so we couldn’t go in.

  Great walk on well maintained path

  As the summer approaches and I start to worry about ticks, I’ll be revisiting this trail a lot. Because it is a former fire road it’s plenty wide without much overgrown foliage, so I don’t worry as much about my dog picking up little passengers.

  Also, the fire road has two convenient stations for disposing of dog waste, which I appreciated a lot—I haven’t seen that in other parks on LI.
