Willoughby Heritage Farm and Conservation Reserve

Leashed dogs are welcome at ‍Willoughby Heritage Farm and Conservation Reserve in Collinsville, IL. This dog-friendly public park has been recreated with atmosphere inspired by 1940's farm life, complete with tractors, barns, a 1930's Craftsman style Farm House, and even live animals like donkeys, steer, chickens, and goats. There are over 30-acres of wildlife preserve complete with hiking trails, bridges, and vistas overlooking the prairie and other areas. Open daily to the public and admission is free. Visit Website

Hiking paths and farm animals
Willoughby Farm and the surrounding nature preserve has several trails. They include some steep hills and are mostly through wooded areas. Fun for the pups to sniff around the animal enclosures. The farm area includes play equipment and can be busy with families.

Ultimate Hike
Beautiful hike which provides 3 difficulty levels. Be prepared for a beautiful walk through the woods. The paths are not paved but you and your pup will enjoy the walk. The terrain varies and does include small inclines. if not in a mood for a hike great suiting area to walk around with farm animals.
