Angel Mounds State Historic Site
Angel Mounds State Historic Site is pet-friendly. Native Americans constructed 11 earthen structures around 1,000AD that still stand today. Bring your leashed pooch for a walk on the many miles of trails through woodland along the Ohio River. The historic grounds are cordoned off for their own protection. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind. Angel Mounds State Historic Site is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
