    Great Beach For Dogs

We loved this beach with our dogs. only draw back is the trash cans are far from the beach for throwing out the poop bags.

    great park

Arrived around 2 pm in April. (Park is open until 6 pm this time of year). Plenty of space and really easy walking on firm sand. Great park.

Folly Beach and its Bark Park

Folly Beach is the most dog friendly community I have ever encountered; it was my first experience taking my two dogs with me on vacation, and I am so glad I picked Folly Beach for the month of January. We were made welcome, whether walking along the ocean, on restaurant patios, and even in some shops. Plus there was the added benefit of their wonderful Bark Park for off-leash exercise and socializing. Special thanks to Planet Follywood and Bert's Red &! White for their exceptional dog welcome. We'll be back!

A great place for a doggie vacation!

We went to Folly Beach for a wedding. The beach is available to dogs before 10:00 am and after 6:00 pm during the peak season. This was my dogs first trip to the beach and she did enjoy herself. Folly beach is a very pet friendly area. The only complaint I have is that some of the dog owners had their dog on their leash but they did not have the leash in their hand. I had several 75 lbs dogs come by to say "hello" to my 17 lbs schnauzer and their owners was several yards away. Most of the dogs were well behaved but it made my schnauzer and me a little uneasy a few times.
