    Porter West Preserve

    Porter West Preserve is pet-friendly. Bring your leashed pooch for a walk on the moderate mowed trail that winds around 2.5-miles of this preserve. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for sinkholes and a spring along the south edge of the woods. There's also a historic cemetery and wildlife ponds, plus wildflowers during spring. Porter West Preserve is open every day of the week from dawn until dusk.

      Great trails

      Beautiful hike in spring with all the wildflowers! Nice and easy trails for a dog with short legs!

      Great Hike!

      A pretty long trail, but very beautiful! It’s pretty secluded and minimal parking.
