Columbia Mine Preserve
Columbia Mine Preserve is pet-friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners at Sycamore’s largest property 5,000 acres, a keystone piece in the Patoka River National Wildlife Refuge. While you're exploring, you may come across bobcats, river otters, and Indiana bats. The three trails on the property are all rated easy and range from the Massey Trail and Indian Hills Trail at around 1.5 miles and the shorter Overlook Trail at under a mile. Columbia Mine Preserve is open from one-half hour before legal sunrise to one-half hour after legal sunset.
