Eagle Slough Natural Area is pet-friendly. Bring your leashed dog for a walk along the nature trail that winds through this wetland and mature bottomland forest, visited by over 160 species of birds. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for interpretive signage along an old rail bed, and a series of observation decks overlooking the wetlands and open water lake. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind to preserve the cleanliness of the wetland.
