One of my favourite hiking trails to go on with my dog as you must pay a fee to park so it is usually not busy and those who are there are respectful. very minimal off leash dogs (a pet peeve of mine when they’re not trained) and there’s both small and big trails, making it easier to keep hiking without having to turn around and walk the same path when you’re done. Overall, a very nice location for almost any time of year (in the winter it’s a little too icy). recommendation: please keep your dog leashed unless their recall is perfect, there are often reactive dogs just trying to have a peaceful walk and do not want to be bothered.

My dog had a blast and loved the place. The reason it has 4 bones is because there were a lot of ticks and my bf and I had to get them off a husky mix (who’s black too!) so if you’ve got a thick furry dog, wait until colder weather to enjoy the trail!
