    Dog Park at Fort Borst Park

    Your pet will love to get some off-leash exercise at the fenced dog park at Fort Borst Park in Centralia, WA. The recreation space includes a separate small dog area and drinking water, but you must bring your own bowl. The south loop road within the community park, where the dog park is located, is open to cars Memorial through Labor Day weekend only. During all other times, the park is only accessible on a walk-in basis. Visit Website

      Not great for off leash

      The fenced in off leash area is pretty lousy! Small, no water, and the humans who take there dogs there do not know how to clean up the poop. The park as a whole is nice to walk in, on leash. The lake water is not safe...lots of reports of sick dogs who play in the lake so stay away.

      Nice dog park!

      While visiting in this area, we took our dog to the Fort Borst Dog Park a few times. It has quite a lot of shade; the whole park is very forested! The grass where it's sunny is quite dry, and there's no water so bring some! The park itself is also very nice for walking with your dog on a leash.
