Sanborn County Park is pet-friendly. Leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners on the woodland trails that wind around this lush 3,453 acre park. Nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains between Saratoga and Skyline Boulevard, walk with your pup in the shadows of redwoods and tan bark oak.     Off beaten path

    the better hiking area is off the road and not in the park itself. once I found that it was awesome! it’s prior to the entrance.

    Dogs only allowed on some trails

    Dogs allowed on leash only in the following: park and picnic lawns, camping site, Sanborn trail, Welch-Hurst trail... Not allowed on Peterson or Nature trails.
