    Great, except open gates

Great as long as your dog won't run through open gates. Grassy.

It's true! This was a revolutionary fort! And the Boston Common was a Masachusett fishing weir. And the Cambridge Common was where troops mustered before Bunker Hill. And., on the other side of it, that Chipotle on Washington was the Old Corner Bookstore and has had almost nothing preserved. It's a weird definition of shameful that sees preservation as a public use park over development as a bad thing.

    Pawing at history!

I'm a dog owner, but I think its despicable that dogs are allowed to run, poop and play on a piece of priceless U.S. history. Revolutionary War Patriots who fought for our freedom built, armed and manned Fort Washington in 1775. How about showing a little respect for our past. Find another place for Fido!
