Appomattox River Regional Park is pet-friendly. Bring your leashed pooch for a walk along 3 mils of trails that wind through more than 65 acres of pristine woods on the Appomattox River. Along the way, pause for a moment at the fishing pier, try your paw at birdwatching, enjoy a bite to eat in one of the picnic pavilions, hop in your canoe or kayak together, and hang out on an observation pier. Appomattox River Regional Park is open every day of the week from dawn until dusk.
