Lewis Creek Trail

Lewis Creek Trail is a pet-friendly trail in Oakhurst. This trailhead is the first one to give access to the weaving pathway to Red Rock Falls. It will take you and your pooch roughly 30 minutes to reach Corlieu Falls and over an hour to reach Red Rock Falls. This hike is classed as easy/medium, so most hikers should be able to complete it. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trail, as long as they are well-behaved and cleaned up after.

    Great for a hot day!

Nice trail with lots of shade. Path follows the creek, so plenty of stops for wading, doggie drinks.

    Great dog friendly hike

This is such a great trail to take the family and the pups. There are two trails. One a short 1 mile hike. The other a 3 mile hike. Our 12 lb little pup (and 9 and 12 year olds) had a great time and did both trails on two different days. There are lots of other dogs on the trail, it's very dog friendly. Just outside of Yosemite. There's plenty of parking and no entrance fee. We will definitely go again.
