  Really great dog run setup with two areas

  One of the best travel center dog parks we’ve seen, especially in the Southwest where it’s usually just gravel and a fence. This was a really nice area with trees, benches, and even a few rocks to climb.

  Great stop on the I-40 in NM before TX state line

  We happened to stop at this rest stop last minute, expecting poop filled areas like every other rest stop from the West Coast, east. Astonishingly, they have fenced off all grassy areas with clear signs not to let your dog poo there, but to take them to the dog run.
  Of course not everybody follows this, but there is a lovely little fenced dog run with yet a larger fenced area for playing. There's also a huge clean parking lot to have a rest if needed. So after my dog had a poo there was lots of space to walk around.
  I wish all rest stops did this, as it was getting really unpleasant to stop and avoid walking much because of all the poo but still get my dog to potty.
  We are putting this one on the map anytime we are passing through the I-40 to or from Texas or New Mexico.
