Franklin Dog Park

Franklin Dog Park is a great place to bring your pooch to play off-leash in Franklin, NC. Featuring two fenced areas for large and small dogs, there's space for all sizes of pups to play. Take a walk around the trail that surrounds the fenced space with your leashed pooch after a game of fetch in the park. Public restrooms are also available, as well as dog waste stations to pick up after your pet. Franklin Dog Park is open every day of the week from 7am to 10pm. Visit Website

Love this particular dog park…
I have been to many dog parks, some great and some awful. Franklin dog park I have to say is one of the very best! All of the dogs were friendly and not aggressive on my two visits and the dog’s people were very friendly. :-)
There is a fully enclosed side for smaller dogs under 20 pounds and a fully enclosed side for larger dogs over 20 pounds. I love that they not have to stay on a leash.

Large dog park with some shade
A large, mostly grassy dog park with shade trees, benches for the humans, and a water fountain for the dog. Friendly dogs and humans. Definitely check it out!
