Dallas Lake Park
Dallas Lake Park is pet-friendly. Located on 140 acres on the south shore of Dallas Lake, take a walk on a 1.75 mile walking trail that meanders through wetland, prairie, and woods with your pooch. Along the way, swing by the sandy beach, look out for wildlife and birds. One of the highlights is the wetland observation deck that overlooks Pond Lil, a state nature preserve. Admission is $5 per car. Dallas Lake Park is open every day of the week from 8am to sunset.
