    Awesome park

As a local, there is NO creek at this park or any other parks in the desert. Having said that, this park is nice, well kept and the people here are very friendly !

    A great find!!

We love this park. There are plenty of trees that offer shade, and lots of lush grass. Our dog loves it there, although he is often the only dog there. Coming from Arizona, there is a shortage of dog parks with grass and shade, so this rates very high with us! Also, there is plenty of clean, fresh water, and shaded benches for you to hang out while your dog socializes. Have only encountered friendly owners.

    Great park!

Our little dog enjoyed this clean, green, fenced-in park. Lots of friendly dogs for her to meet and play with. This was a great find!

    Waste of time

What a waste of space. What a truly disappointing "dog park", I have more room in my apartment. Isn't there anywhere to hike with your dog off leash in Palm Desert area?

This is a very small dog park...no row trees or creek in the off leash area. If there are more than 4 or 5 large dogs it is too small for much activity. Fortunately this park has never been very crowded when I have been there. The small dog area seems to be adequate for a number of dogs to play but the area that is fenced for the large dogs is limited if the dogs want to fetch balls and run.

    where is the creek?

I recently relocated to Palm Desert from Seattle Washington with my 3 Terriers. We enjoy Freedom Park so much. Like a best kept secret, Freedom Park is quiet and green and clean! Can anyone tell me where the creek is???
