- 예린Jul 13, 2024Chris was our trip saver!
Chris was amazing and I can't thank him enough for saving our trip with our furry friend Chestnut. It was our first time visiting Washington DC, I was completely lost when planning the trip especially because of the limitation of traveling with a dog. Chris was very accommodating and friendly with our dog. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional so we felt we have seen the whole city less than 3 hours. He suggested a couple of good parking spaces and picked us up at the parking garage so we were completely hassle-free! I would definitely recommend taking the tour with Chris if you are traveling with a furry friend and do not want to get exhausted from walking for hours.
- AllisonApr 17, 2024Awesome must do!
We were with Chris for about 4 hours in October and he was just fantastic! We brought our furchild Teddy and we had a great time! The guided tour was amazing and his knowledge is unbelievable! We saw in four hours what would have taken three days! Can’t recommend this enough!
- CristinaOct 17, 2023Great tour ride on a Sunday afternoon
my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of having Chris as our tour guide. Our little fur baby absolutely loved it. Chris was not only extremely knowledgeable but extremely sweet and inviting. I would recommend anyone who has a pup to try this tour out.
Thank you Chris!

We hired Chris on 10/2/2023 for a tour of the Washington Mall area. He first helped us by giving me a link to a parking app that was very helpful. He picked us up at the parking garage and our tour began. Our tour lasted about 4 hours and it was more interesting and informative than we expected. Chris knows so much past and current history, we were amazed! I highly recommend seeing D.C. with Chris’s pedicab. We brought our 2 Shi-tzus with us and it was very comfortable. We would definitely look him up again.
- AnneJun 28, 20235 bones plus!
We had a great tour this morning with Chris for our family and 2 corgis. He picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel exactly when we asked and took us all around the national mall. The dogs loved it and it was a great trip. Hope to do it again sometime. Five bones plus!
- LuzJun 18, 2023Great time in DC!!
We just had a very limited time to see the main sites so we decided to book a tour with Chris. He was very accommodating and attentive and a great historian/ tour guide. My dog Maya enjoyed the ride so much she was even falling asleep…lol. Highly recommend.
- KellyApr 28, 2023Amazing Tour!
Chris was absolutely amazing and was able to take my dog and me around to all the sites we wanted to see. In addition, he suggested we see the FDR Memorial which was so beautiful. If you are in DC and need a dog friendly tour, Chris with Wheel The People Pedicab Tours is amazing.
- QuinnJan 9, 2023Call Chris today!!!
It is my husband and my first time visiting DC, because we have our dog with us, I looked up pet-friendly activities and found Wheel The People. I texted Chris the day before our tour and he was able to accommodate because we visited during the off season.
Not knowing where to park our car to meet us, he sent us an app that gave us a really good parking rate in downtown DC where we can pre-paid so he can meet us directly at the parking garage.
Hopping on the pedicab, Chris provided our dog Lucy a blanket (he made sure to wash it prior and it just immediately made us feel so touched cause he is so considerate).
Chris is basically an encyclopedia on bike lol my husband is a history buff and even he was able to learn something new from Chris!
I can't speak more highly of him! If you are thinking about what to do in DC, stop hesitating and call Chris today! - JoanneApr 8, 2022Wheel the people is Awesome
We came to DC as
a stopover enroute to Boston. I was having issues walking and we had our small dog, Oreo with us. We wanted to make the most of our day in DC, so I found out about Chris and his pedicab on BringFido! Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate , it rained but
Chris said it wouldn’t be an issue. He saved the day !!! We were zipped up in his clear plastic canopy, along with a wool blanket and off we went to view the end of the cherry blossoms along with the sites. He told us the history of the site, even took us
to sites we had never seen in past visits! Chris was so very accommodating and knowledgeable, and considerably less $$ than other pedicabs. We highly recommend you try him out.Joanne and David

- JohanaOct 27, 2021Fabulous Rickshaw Tour of Washington, DC
Our rickshaw tour of the National Mall with Wheel The People Pedicab Tours was the highlight of our travel to Washington, DC! Chris was both humorous and informative in his narration of the monuments and statues, and he opened our eyes to things we hadn’t even considered. In addition to my elderly mother, I even brought my dog along, and Chris made sure we were all comfortable, and hydrated with bottled water, and little a water bowl too. We look forward to a rickshaw tour of Capitol Hill with him the next time we swing through DC.
- KayOct 16, 2021My dog and I loved this trike tour
I found Chris and Wheel The People Tours through our dog’s foster doggie-mommie, who cared for our dog before we adopted her. I must say, Chris was really a wonderful host for our pup. He spend a moment greeting and bonding with her before she boarded the trike, he offered her water with a stainless steel bowl, and then accommodated her with a comfortable blanket to lay on while we rode along on his trike. Chris even offered to walk her and spend time with her at the places we stopped during our pedicab sightseeing tour on the National Mall. Although, I really was able to take her inside all the memorials, briefly, and nobody gave me a hard time about it. I would suggest that, overall, “The Mall,” as they call it here, is a good place to travel with your dog. There is plenty of open space and fresh air, and it’s a good relaxed respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown, DC. I really enjoyed my time on the trike with Chris, and I can’t think of a better way to tour with your dogs and pups several miles around the monuments.
- BrandonOct 14, 2021Enjoyed this moment so much !!!!
I’m so thrilled to have connected with Wheel The People Pedicab Tours during our visit to Washington, DC! The owner, Chris, happily accommodated all three of us, plus our Irish Setter, Rusty, in his big comfortable pedicab rickshaw! He brought us all around the National Mall during our rickshaw tour, and had an amazing way of unpacking the architectural style of the memorials! Chris even had a Scooby snack for Rusty. If I ever make it back there to the nation’s capital again, I would definitely book another pedicab tour of Washington, DC with Wheel The People. This is one tour not to miss.
