Country Canines parks are the best hidden gem for dogs visiting the city that are used to being in the country. My partner brought my dog to visit while I’m in town for business, and staying in a hotel is difficult for a dog used to running free on a farm most of the day and spends minimal time on leash, and with having been attacked by another dog when he was a puppy i don’t take him to dog parks.
But then I found Country Canines, beautifully looked after large, secured fenced area, water freely available, communal toys if you need them but way better to bring your own, and the agility obstacles are so fun for a complete novice even.
I have recommended this to everyone i know :D - AlyshiaJan 13, 2023My dogs love it here!
So nice to have a safe place to bring dogs for a run and some fun. We have a recurring reservation so I don’t even have to think about logging in to reserve.

We've been coming here for a year, and we love it. It's a great way for Ava to tire herself out without being getting frightened by other dogs (her personal bubble is about a 5 block radius!).
I think the previous reviewer didn't realize that the park is for people to bring their anxious/reactive dogs to enjoy a run without anyone else around, but it is quite clear on the site.
If your dog(s) need their own space to frolic, this is the place to go!
- DebJul 11, 2021an expensive disappointment
there are actually 3 family-owned play parks with this company. specifically. my experience is with the one in Carp.
we are active puppy parents with three dogs in two households. Grandpa's birthday, we decide to try something new. $30 we got no personal attention, not even a greeting. a large field has about 6 crudely made and poorly repaired agility ramps, weaving poles, tire tunnel, 2 half-chewed frisbees, 2 chuck-its with no ball for one and the other had a large hole in it so it did not bounce, a child's pool with dirty water, and one bowl of water at the farthest spot from the equipment. There were 2 chairs for owners to sit and enjoy watching the interactions.
we were the only ones there so we didn't even have other dogs or owners to interact with.
Assets: their gate entrance offers safe access with a double gate, and the large field is fenced well.
Not worth the price of admission or the drive to get there. we booked one hour and left after 20 minutes - so disappointing!
