Thomas Stafford Dog Park
Thomas Stafford Dog Park is located behind the Alpena Post Office at North Riverfront Park. The dog park provides a completely fenced-in, beautiful view of the Thunder Bay River, benches, water spigot, mutt mitts, garbage receptacles, and plenty of tunnels and play space for making new friends!

This park is near a canal leading to Lake Huron. It is kind of a pretty little spot. The park is mostly grass with some areas wood chipped. There are four small trees that provide very little shade and the benches aren’t located under them. There is a faucet and bowl for a fresh supply of water. The park provided a nice spot for the dogs to burn some energy.
