This is NOT the trail for large dogs that like to pull! Lots of rocks and steep ascents. That being said, all the dogs we saw were super happy and chill.. We left our dogs at home given how easily they get excited and try bolting to the next thing.

I bring my dog here frequently as a way to prep her for longer hikes when she is fully grown. There is rocky section that may be tough for some dogs, but the section is generally pretty short.
