- WilliamAug 23, 2022Best Park in San Diego
While visiting the San Diego area I visited several dog parks. This was the best park by far. It was well maintained with plenty of space for all dogs. Note that there is not an area for small dogs, it did not seem to be an issue. Plenty of trees, grassy areas and places to sit and relax.

A nice surprise! Much larger than average area, grass, shade, water, restrooms, decent parking, nearby restaurants and shops are pet friendly (South Park). Views of downtown. NOT fenced but off leash okay. Not fenced = one area combined for dogs of all sizes. Note renovation / maintenance until July 2022.

We love this park. About 50% is grass with lots of shade. Also picnic tables and logs to sit on in the shade. It's huge with water and poop bags. Lots of dogs and friendly people. Definitely give bones.

Hard to believe that this park is not on best lists in California and US. Great location with views of downtown, plenty of open and varied space, decent amount of parking, usually filled with a wide range of friendly cannes and their owners. Granted, not fenced but borders well marked. A curious dog could as mine has wander into the sloping canyon. Haven;t heard a dog straying and we've frequented the park dozens of time, driving a good 8 miles to get our fix. Just hope the area can stay well maintained.

This is our go to dog park, even though we don't live close. There's great space for off leash, and always lots of dogs to play with.

I have a siberian husky that we take this park all the time! it is a great park and many people go there from the community. It is not fenced but i have no problem with my dog and she is not all that behaved...but overall this is a great park to go to! :D
