  The Worst

  I’ve been to dog parks all over the country and this meets minimum expectations. Maryland has very few dog parks to choose from which is unfortunate given that what they have are of such poor quality. The grounds are minimally cared for. The water fountains have large areas of standing water around them. The grassy fields are swarming with flying biting insects. And the people are the snobbiest most cliquish I’ve met at any dog park I’ve ever been to. The dogs are great though.

  This dog park is dominated by people who have no control over their dogs. My friend's doberman got attacked and needed 5 stitches and then a German Shepherd dog attacked my toy poodle. The owner's excuse was "he was just trying to play". If a dog violently chases and then pins your dog to the ground it's not considered "play". I know this is not the only instance. If you love your dogs, stay away!

  don't go unless you are a "normal" visitor

  Love the dog park, hate "alpha" feeling in the group. Dogs there are so use to each other that any new comer would get attacked. My dog got attacked 6/8 times I went there. Would bleed every time. One owner even tried to justify the attach by saying " oh he was just trying to get your dogs collar" stil, not okay!!!! Spent over $100 in vet bills for the aggressive bites....
