- MuffinJul 29, 2024Small dog park
The dog park is small, fenced in with a dusty, gravel floor. There was a path that the city claimed was wheelchair accessible but not flat. The pros were that it is fully fenced in with a double gate. The cons include the loud distraction for sensitive dogs for the tennis/pickelball courts attached. Small area with a hill makes it hard for a dog to run. No shade trees. No water source. Parking is the furthest distance away from the dog park. No one is permitted to use this public dog park unless they register and pay a $50-$100 fee. Someone added a table and a few chairs. A few times found young dogs startled and untrained/aggressive. There is no room to avoid confrontations.
