Tradewinds Field Preserve
Tradewinds Field Preserve on Martha's Vineyard is pet-friendly. Owned by The Martha’s Vineyard Land Bank, this 72-acre property consists of walking trails that wind through wooded areas and a vast open meadow. Visiting canines and Vineyard residents alike are welcome to explore the preserve, as long as you clean up after your pup and be mindful of hikers and joggers also using the land. The former grass-field airport still has the occasional small plane landing, so keep your eyes to the sky and make sure your pooch is good at recall. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind.
