Sapelo Island Tours
Join Jim Morrison, local writer and history buff for a dog-friendly tour of Sapelo Island in Darien, GA. Two tours are offered- a half day tour of half the island or a whole day tour of the entire island. Tours meet at the Sapelo Island Visitor's Center. Leashed or held dogs are allowed on the ferry that will take you to the island. Upon arriving, you'll spend your time viewing an unusual turkey fountain, mansion, lighthouse, historic area, and more. You may opt for a tour in a motorized vehicle or a walking tour.
