Oakwoods Metropark

Oakwoods Metropark is a dog-friendly nature park and scenic wooded area welcoming locals and visitors to New Boston, MI. Dogs are welcome to accompany you on a hike along paved trails leading through mature woodlands to scenic overlooks. Visitors can also trek down a 15 mile trail which connects to Willow and Lower Huron Metroparks. Dogs can swim in the Huron River which meanders through the park and is also a launching spot for canoeists and kayakers.
