    Just A Plain Fenced Area

Pretty boring for dogs as well as owners. There’s a bunch of work trucks and it’s right on a busy road. Box shaped fenced area.

    Worst Dog Park

There is nothing positive to say about this place. Muddy, poop specimens everywhere, owners clueless, aggressive dogs (always) waiting at entrance while owners ignore them and sit around.

    Too many inattentive owners

The pros of this park are the double gate, nice shady areas with large trees, and a large area where dogs can really run and burn off all their energy. The cons are there are only two park benches for owners to sit on and they are always taken up by regular patrons who do more chatting than watching their dogs. Also it seems more aggressive breeds are coming to this park and there have been dog fights with injuries. We brought our very dog friendly 60 lb. mixed breed there a few times then we saw a dog who had a stitched 5 inch gash on his back sustained there (another dog owner informed me of this) which should have been our first clue not to stay. Go elsewhere.

    Best When Empty

Brought my two dogs there... one of which is a friendly guy but a bit nervous around new dogs (has never been aggressive). Once inside, I went to an empty corner and let my dogs loose. All was well at first, until the larger dogs there ganged up on my more nervous guy and chased him around while he ran for his life yelping in fear (he is not a small dog). The other dog owners paid zero attention and let their dogs terrorize my dog without so much as an apology or assistance. I calmed my guy down and left immediately. The other owners seem to have no knowledge of dog behavior and find this acceptable. A little background info... I am a vet tech with a degree in animal behavior.

    Only come when it's empty

I tried bringing my very friendly playful 10 month old Aussie one morning, around 10:30 and it was a madhouse. Couldn't even get into the gate because no one would move their dogs away. When we finally did get in, all the dogs ganged up on mine and started attacking. Only one owner helped and apologized. Everyone else just stood around chatting. We left immediately

    Could be a good experience

Ditto to what the previous reviewer said about the very large man. His dog is great and well behaved, him not not so much. Doesn't respect the rules or people. When at the park all dogs but one were well behaved. A large Shepard accompanied by a woman & young boy kept being aggressive toward our dog & she didn't control him. We had to leave the park.

    Decent Dog Park

The dog park is pretty nice, a decent grassy area with trees which provide shade on the one side. The one issue is there is a decent amount of dirt, which can turn into mud after a rain storm. I completely disagree with the uneducated dog owner that left the previous comment about this park, while at the park I haven't seen any golden retrievers (which actually are one of the most intellegent dogs). Owners for the most part seem to pay close attention to their dogs, with a few exception. The earlier you go to the park the better the owners seem to be. Overall my dog thoroughly enjoys going to this park, and has yet to have a bad expierence.

    Flemington Dog Park

Most owners are OK. Every other dog there is a golden retriever which are the the dumbest dogs ever. One owenr in perticular ruins the park, a very very large man with a dog named riley. I don't suggest this park to anyone...
