- PotMay 31, 2023No shade
It's easy for fur babies to overheat because there isn't much shade. The dog area only has two canopies that aren't very big and no natural shade from trees. The walking trail itself that requires dogs to be on a leash and goes around the park also barely has any shade and the paved ground is extremely hot on puppy paws especially during the summer. Very disappointed with Pearland. You'll have better luck at the Stevenson Park in Friendswood or even the Dixie Farm Road trail at the Blackhawk intersection.

Loved this park! Only downside was the fenced in area wasn't very big. Also, lots of feces around (Please pick up after your dogs!!!)
