There are two in Eureka
There are two dog parks in Eureka. This one is known as Del Norte Street DP. It is a single fenced area, over an acre, along the bay with an obvious walking path (portion is paved and a portion is packed dirt). A few benches. A slice of shade. Water and restrooms just outside near where you park. Good stop.

Gorgeous and lots of fun
Pros: This dog park has a beautiful view of the bay. A few picnic tables and some chairs to sit while you watch your fur bud play. Water and bags available. It’s a huge space for dogs to run all over the place.
Cons: It huge so if your dog get attacked by another dog you will probably be running really far.
People are not cleaning after their dogs very well. So there’s poop and very old muddy toys everywhere.
There is a scummy pond that your dog will probably try to go in, and lots of mud puddles.
