Elijah Bristow State Park
Fido is welcome to accompany you to dog-friendly Elijah Bristow State Park in Dexter, OR. The park was named for one of the first pioneer settlers in Lane County and offers over 10 miles of hiking trails which take visitors through meadows, wetlands and woodlands. Dogs are required to be leashed unless using the designated off-leash area near the main entrance. This area has water, an upper fully fenced field, and a lower partially fenced area with access to Lost Creek. The trail system at Elijah Bristow State Park incorporates a section of the Eugene to Pacific Crest trail and hikers can also utilize Willamette River Water Trail for a direct route to the river.
