  Big Park With Flaws

  The park smells like pee when you enter through the back entrance. Even with the weekly cleaning from the city. The biggest issue the park has is people are more concerned with each other rather than what their dog is doing so there is a small chance of a scruff or two and some poop not picked up so watch your step! Not all bad things to say though. The park is large and the rec center right next to it makes it for both owners and dog lovers to enjoy the puppy’s! Also there is a big dog and small dog area with plenty of water stations.

  Solid Park

  Reasonably sized area for dogs to run around. Has separate areas for both small dogs and larger ones. The ground is covered in mulch, not grass, and the park is on a slope. I like slopes for our dog as it means more effort for her when playing fetch. Our dog enjoyed running around and meeting new friends. Lots of parking right outside with two entrances. I recommend parking at the top. There is also a grassy area next to the dog park for small kids to sit and look at the puppies.

  Large park with problems

  So-so dog park. The downhill entry point smells strongly of urine; the city says all the urine from the park flows downhill, and even constant cleaning doesn't keep the smell at bay. Many of the owners don't bother to supervise their dogs; they talk to each other while the dogs spend time with each other, but few control their dogs if they are being obnoxious. Lot's of people don't pick up after their dogs either, so the park is full of dried feces. The large size is nice, but owners still need to supervise, and many don't even know or care what their dog is doing in the park.

  GREAT BARKPARK

  Great place..HUGE...Agility gear..Small and Large dog areas..Nice folks. Attentive respectful owners. Water fountains for the dogs...just an all around great dog park.
