Amerson River Park
Amerson River Park is a pet-friendly recreation area in Macon, GA, where leashed dogs are welcome. The park is part of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail and features 3.5 miles of paved trails, .75 miles of mulch trails, picnic pavilions, restrooms, and more. I loved walking here. The trails were well marked, everyone was super helpful. The views were great and along the main trail they had fitness equipment which was great to see.

We stopped here on our roadtrip and our dog had so much fun sniffing around the trails and playing fetch on the lawn
