    Katherine Legge Memorial Park

This is a great place to let your dogs run free - like off the leash. The hours are limited and change in the spring and fall. There are morning hours and evenings hours. If you go the website site you will find all the information. It is a beautiful place for both the dogs and their owners. You need to keep the dogs on a leash until you reach a certain area by the bridge. It is it a large park and about half of it can be over ran by the dogs. Each owner can bring two dogs. I never had a issue with any of the other dogs or people not cleaning up after their pets. Best of all it is free.

If I Could Give Zero I Would

I’m not sure if things have recently changed but there is really no off leash area! There is a sign that says dogs must be on leash or under voice command at all times. There are very restrictive times as well. There doesn’t seem to be anything fenced in. Total waste of a trip and hugely disappointing!

    LOVE THIS PARK

We are new to the area as of the fall, and haven’t been able to find our new favorite summer hangout spot yet. This spring we are visiting different parks, this was our first. WE LOVED it! The area is VERY large. Large enough to have many groups of dogs together, large or small, and not be bothered by other groups that may be more playful than others. There were a number of poop bag receptacles, which I always appreciate. Beautiful area. We still have other parks to visit, but this park will be one of our first go-tos this summer!!

    Lots of fun

KLM dog park is by far one of the prettiest we have been too. There is tons of room for the dogs to play and everyone picks up after their dogs! With that being said, the reason we gave this dog park three stars is for the lack of fencing which is why we decided to stop taking our dog here. There is a creek which is a lot of fun for the dogs but we were told it is very dangerous for the dogs to drink out of (our dog loves to do so) There is a sign warning that dogs could possibly drown in the creek after a lot of rain although there is no sign warning of the dangers of drinking the water from it. Ideally, we would probably enjoy this dog park if the creek was fenced off. Don't get me wrong this a wonderful park it is just not the right one for us!!

    Beautiful!

I recently toke my 5 month puppy to this dog park and was amazed by how beautiful it was! The people were all very friendly and everyone takes care and picks up after their dogs. There is so much room for my pup to run. I would have given this a 5 star rating although I am a little bummed that dogs are not allowed in the afternoon. Another reason why I gave this park 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that the entrance to the park is not fenced so there is a chance my dog could escape the park area if I didn't keep a good eye on her. Other than that this a fantastic dog park and the nicest one I have been to. I would highly recommend it.

    what a find!

With gently rolling grassy hills, big shade trees, paths for walking, a creek to play in and plenty of space to accommodate all, we had a wonderful visit ... Wish this was in my neighborhood!

    The GREATEST park

I travel all round the U.S. and I always find "off leash" parks. This is by far the cleanest, largest and the people there are very nice. Visit this park if you are in the area!

    Fun times

Great place for my Dogs to play with other doggies, the place is very clean but we do share it with the Frisbee players so watch you dog from getting hit like mine did. But overall a great park.

    Not completely fenced

I love KLM but the dog park is a park within a park. While the whole park has a fence around it, the entrance and exit are not gated. The dog park is a section inside KLM and IS NOT FENCED IN. KLM is a great place for leashed dogs or dogs who are command trained. The park provides doggy bags and it's a beautifully kept park.

Great place for dogs to run!

This is a well kept park that allows dogs ito play in morning until 9am and back again at 7pm. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the hour restrictions. My dog LOVES to go the this park and meet a few furry friends and chase many balls. There is a creek and if you don't watch your dog, they may just get all wet playing in the creek.
