Not good for small dogs
This is the only dog park I've been to where it's all asphalt. I'd never go in the summer. All large dogs with no small dog area made me and my dog uneasy. It's in my neighborhood but not ideal, so I won't go back.

Good except when aggressive dogs come
(The original posting has the wrong map location -- this isn't in NYC but in Schenectady.) This park has plenty of room for dogs to run, plenty of parking, and nice surroundings. Many of the dogs and people are nice and responsible. In my experience, aggressive dogs and owners who don't control them are more common at this park than at many others. So...it's great except when it isn't.
