Take a fascinating 35-minute ride back into history over the scenic Virginia & Truckee Railroad in Virginia City, NV. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are welcome with permission from the conductor. The ride includes narrated stories of the Comstock Bonanza, the railroad's history, and how Virginia City used to be the richest city in the world. You'll pass 17 Bonanza mine sites and silver ore veins, and make a stop at Gold Hill where gold and silver strikes began in 1859.
