Kenai Wildlife Refuge

Kenai Wildlife Refuge was originally designated as Kenai National Moose Range by President Roosevelt in 1941. Today, the almost 2-million acre wilderness area promotes biodiversity, scientific research and habitat conservation in Soldotna, AK. Fido can tag along for stunning views of Alaska's pristine nature, but dogs must be under control at all times and are not permitted on hiking and ski trails in the Refuge Headquarters area. Pets must be leashed in the parking lot and campground areas. Visit Website
