John Slidell Park
John Slidell Park is a beautiful dog-friendly open area to walk Fido in Slidell, LA. The park has a 1.5 mile paved trail which is shaded. There are also ball fields and a picnic pavilion. Dogs must be leashed at John Slidell Park and are not permitted in the playground.

We go here often as it’s close to our neighborhood. Great playground, although dogs aren’t allowed in that section (not very enforced). Nice long walking space with a few off-road sections to go through. Leads to a neighborhood which isn’t too bad. Only real issue is how loud it can be from the road noise.
