Marengo Cave

Marengo Cave is a dog-friendly US National Landmark in Marengo, IN. While leashed pets of any size are welcome on the park grounds, only small dogs that can be carried are permitted on the cave tour. The Crystal Palace tour is an easy walk through rooms filled with formations and lasts 40 minutes. The Dripstone Trail tour is an hour long and covers more ground. Visit Website

Friendly and Welcoming!
Was able to bring my Beagle mix dog on the tour in a backpack carrier but a front carrier would have worked much better. The staff was incredibly welcoming to us and helped us get caught up with a group that just started as we showed up a little late. Would recommend this to anyone with calm dogs who are small enough and don’t mind sitting in a carrier for an hour or two. The tour is very fun, too. Love caves and am glad I was able to bring my dog.
