    Tyger River Park

    Tyger River Park is a dog-friendly outdoor recreation area in Spartanburg, SC. Leashed dogs are welcome to walk with you along the outer perimeter of the park. Tyger Run Dog Park is located adjacent to the sports complex and features fenced enclosures for small and large dogs.

      Great dog park

      I’ve taken my dogs here on several occasions. 2 separate areas for large and small dogs. lots of space for them to run and people to sit. fully fenced in. I have a husky so a high secure fence is priority! this park checked that box. Regulars are very welcoming and very attentive to their dogs. Water and shaded areas available. Lots of walking paths should you choose to take them on a walk versus running the park.

      Don't be deceived by the beautiful park

      Dog park is beautiful and many of the regulars are awesome. However my dog has been attacked a few times by various dogs on various days and there are a lot of timid dogs that come that will snap at dogs that come close. Please also be cautious that some of the dogs do not like puppies.
