    Awesome large dog park

Two pens for large & small dogs. High fences, water station, poop bags, 2 shaded sections with seating. Muddy sections are covered in mulch. Would definitely come back!

    Our puppy is pooped

My husband and I take our young puppy to socialize ND gwt exercise...she loves playing with the big dogs...Pitbulls are there and are well behaved..My issue is unaltered males. Most people keep and eye on their dogs and are very friendly. Qe will be going a lot...

    Clean!

While we were on a road trip through Georgia to Florida we hit a big wall on traffic on I-75 so decided to pull off and let the dogs burn off some energy.

The park is in a nice residential area and is very clean. We will stop here again on our next trip

    Pit bull ban

We refuse to support a city, Marietta, that continues to have misinformed breed specific laws.

    Very Nice

Nice asset for a relatively urban area. Friendly people and dogs.
Just a heads up. Address is 475 Campbell Hill St, 30060. Otherwise GPS can't find it.

Really? A ban on pit bulls and rottweilers? For what reason?

Nice Park When Dog Owners Control Their Dogs

This is a nicely maintained dog park with areas for small and large dogs. I would advise walking your dog in on a leash to make sure the dogs are friendly first. We've brought 2 of our dogs here in the past and we've had problems with owners controlling their aggressive dogs. We had to leave twice because of inconsiderate owners not controlling their dogs. Haven't had this problem at Swift-Cantrell, Pitner Road or Coleman Camp dog parks.

    nice but

This is a pleasant place, although it is minimal. There are paces to sit, a couple of seating areas and a bench. There is also a fountain but no tress or anything else. It is great for the dogs playing.

Unfortunately, the last time I went, a woman told me that I needed to remove my dog. My dog is 6 months old and still trying to figure things out. She never has bitten a dog or anything else, but she is noisy and in this case there was another dog going after her.. Anyway, I left, but folks need to understand aggressiveness versus playfulness. Also, in time I imagine barking will stop as she gets older.

Again, it is a nice place to take a dog to get exercise. Oh, it does get quite wet, since it is a low spot, so give it a couple of days before going.

    Lots of Dogs!

I just got my dog from animal control yesterday and I wanted to start socializing him with other dogs since he's 10 months and will easily learn manners from the other dogs. I was worried when I first got there that there wasn't going to be many dogs because there was only one lady with a small dog. However as an hour passed there wound up being over nine dogs there. It was great. All of us laughed and watched our dogs play as we talked. Even though there's a doggie water fountain I would recommend bringing a bowl from home of some sort. We did and it was easier for them to drink out of and we could place it in the shade. Everyone there makes sure their dog behaves. A few growls and such are exchanged here and there but owners are quick to pounce on their dogs about it. They ran around until they all dropped and now my dog is sleeping like the dead in his crate. I'm going to have to take him here regularly!

    Very nice dog park!

We travel a lot and are always looking for dog parks for our Dobie to get some exercise and visit with other dogs. This one is very nice.

It has two areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs (the other review that says one area is incorrect). There are no trees, but there are shaded picnic tables for the humans, and lots of grass for the dogs to run in.

On a Saturday afternoon there were lots of other dogs too, so we all had a great time!

    Minimalistic, clean and friendly

This park is well maintained! Everybody I met there was very polite and their dogs were super friendly. It is only one large area, so if you are nervous for your small dogs I would suggest Sweat Mountain Dog Park as they have two separate areas. However, I doubt you will have many problems unless your wee pooch can't handle larger dogs.

Other than that, this park has a nice long stretch for you to play fetch or let your runner go free. There 3 covered areas with picnic tables. There is also a drinking fountain that has both a top and bottom area and there's always a couple bowls floating around for you to fill.

All in all this is a wonderful dog park in a great location, but unfortunately I won't be coming again because my dog has a bad grass allergy. If not for that, I would come here every time!

    Great park

    Benches, tables some overhead covering.

It is a nice park, plenty of running room, there is a drinking fountain for the dogs, bags are available

The neighbors have done a good job maintaining it. I liked the people I met there. My dog was a little scared at first, but then she didn't want to leave. She loves it there. taking her there is like taking my daughter to six flags.
